Stomach cancer and the side effects of treatment make eating a challenge for many people. Chef Hans - Gesundheit Kitchen

Hans Rueffert is the world renowned "chef without a stomach". He was diagnosed with stage 3 stomach cancer  in 2005. As part of his treatment he had most of his stomach and some esophagus removed. Hans appreciates first hand the difficulties of eating and living without a stomach. He uses his knowledge to create recipes that are nutritious and conscious of the needs of stomach cancer patients. Hans is currently a board member of the Gastric Cancer Foundation. He is also the author of Eat Like There’s No Tomorrow, a cookbook that includes a original recipes and personal narratives.
