The Power of Periwinkle is a global, volunteer-led initiative that shines a light on stomach cancer awareness every November. Since 2017, when My Gut Feeling first launched the campaign, landmarks and community spaces around the world have been illuminated in periwinkle blue—the official color of stomach cancer awareness.

What began with a handful of sites has grown into a worldwide movement, with more than 150 locations now participating across continents. From iconic city skylines to local community hubs, each glowing landmark is a beacon of hope, awareness, and solidarity for everyone impacted by stomach cancer.

This year, on November 30, 2025, cities across the globe will once again come together in light—raising visibility, honoring those affected, and inspiring action in the fight against stomach cancer.

On November 30, 2025, landmarks around the world will glow in periwinkle blue for The Power of Periwinkle. We’re looking for volunteer photographers to help capture this magical moment and share the light of stomach cancer awareness in their town.
